A few weeks ago we spent a wonderful morning with Caterina and Paul, the new Teach a Talent volunteers. This lovely couple run a beautiful tailoring shop in Madrid called el91. They have a huge passion for their profession that shows in all they do and they are thrilled to have joined our group of volunteers.
The first thing the kids learned was how to make feather bow ties. I mean, how cool is that? Not only the end product is gorgeous but I love that in the process of making them the kids could also learn all about the different birds that can be found in our country.
Paul can also teach your kids how to tie a bow tie or a tie. So next time your little boy has a ceremony or an event, why don’t you visit Paul? I’m sure he will love to be able to do it all by himself.
Another interesting thing that Paul and Caterina can teach your children is how to take clothing measurements. We had so much fun trying this and it’s such an useful thing to learn.
Last but not least if your kids make a drawing at el91 they can insert it inside a pair of cuff links. Such a lovely idea, I personally think that it is the perfect present for a dad.
Paul and Caterina were so sweet to the kids. They have a cute little girl that is often around in the shop and their love for children shines in the way they share their passion with them. I am so grateful to both of them for joining Teach a Talent. It’s people like them, kind and passionate, that can help discover hidden talents. I’m sure they will soon become one of Madrid’s favourite volunteers.
